The City of Karratha reviewed transport services and bus stop infrastructure to better understand how people get around and travel to Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Roebourne and Point Samson. We wanted to know what was working well and where improvements were needed to advocate for better services for our community.

As part of this project, we sought insights from local service providers who deliver or support alternative transport options. Your feedback was vital in helping us understand the key challenges in providing transport services and meeting the needs of clients who rely on them.

The project explored how public transport could better support different groups in our community who rely on buses or other alternative transport for everyday travel.

Your feedback played an important role in highlighting gaps in the network, understanding barriers that affected your clients’ access to services, and exploring ways the City could better advocate for transport solutions.

The City will now review all feedback received to help inform future advocacy priorities and support improved transport outcomes for the community.
