Project Background
The City of Karratha is reviewing transport services and bus stop infrastructure to better understand how people get around and travel to Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Roebourne and Point Samson. We want to know what’s working well, what could work better, and where improvements are needed and to advocate for better services for our community.
As part of this project, we are seeking insights from local service providers who deliver or support alternative transport options. Your feedback is vital in helping us understand the key challenges in providing transport services and meeting the needs of clients who rely on them.
The project will explore how public transport can better support different groups in our community who rely on buses or other alternative transport for everyday travel.
Your feedback will play an important role in highlighting gaps in the network, understanding barriers that affect your clients access to your services, and exploring ways the City can better advocate for delivering transport solutions.
The project is reviewing public transport across the City to identify where improvements are needed and to advocate for better services for our community.
Some aspects of public transport are managed by external agencies, so the City cannot directly change routes or services. However, your feedback will help us advocate for improvements and inform future planning.
