Shaping the Future for Our Youngest Community Members
The City of Karratha is developing its first Early Years Strategy to support children aged 0–5 and their families across the City.
Early childhood lays the foundation for lifelong health, learning and wellbeing. This strategy has been informed by engagement with local families, service providers, stakeholders and children to help ensure the best possible start in life.
Community and stakeholders were invited to participate in Early Years Strategy engagement in April-May 2025.
Community workshops were held from 6-8 May 2025, with a survey open until 12pm on Friday, 9 May for those who could not attend.

We now invite you to provide feedback on our draft Early Years Strategy and Implementation Plan before we finalise and adopt them. Your input will help ensure these documents reflect your feedback and support a brighter future for our youngest residents.
