Developing the Engagement Framework
City of Karratha is developing an Engagement Framework.
The framework will ensure Council decisions consider the needs, priorities, and aspirations of our diverse community. It will also help the City be more consistent in why, how and when it communicates with and seeks feedback from community and stakeholders.
We asked community members about their experiences and expectations when engaging with the City of Karratha.
This feedback shaped two key framework documents that were open for feedback from 3 to 30 March 2026:
Feedback Options Provided During March 2026
- Community Review Workshop
- Wednesday 18 March 2026
- Location: The Quarter, 20 Sharpe Avenue, Level 3, Karratha
- Online access to the document and an Online Feedback Form
- Feedback Stations at Dampier, Karratha and Wickham Library where copies of the draft documents and Paper-based Feedback Forms were available from 3 to 30 March 2026
- A Community Engagement Pop-Up at the Community Resource Centre Roe Street, (in front of Iremugadu Social Supermarket) held from 9.30am-11.30am on Tuesday 24 March 2026
