Welcoming our new Council Members
The City of Karratha is excited to welcome new faces to Council following the 2025 Local Government Elections, held on 18 October 2025.
With 12 candidates contesting five seats, the election saw a voter turnout of 23.29%. Following the count, Jodie Swaffer, Geoff Harris, Daiva Gillam and Martin Byrne were elected for four-year terms, while Gillan Furlong was elected for a two-year term.
Mayor Daniel Scott said he was delighted to welcome the new members to the team.
