What We Make It Moderation:
By monitoring information and feedback that site users provide, we can protect the integrity of the discussions from individuals and groups who may attempt to unduly influence the outcomes of a consultation process. For example, we check to ensure each user has a single email account. We also review the site to protect it from span or trolls.
Data Integrity:
We also use the demographic information provided to compare it with the demographic data collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics Census. This helps us understand which voices we are hearing on the What We Make It online platform, and which voices we need to seek through other forms of engagement, such as paper-based surveys, or face-to-face opportunities, including workshops, interviews and pop-up engagement stalls.

The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the What We Make It Karratha website (the “Site”). The platform is owned and operated by Social Pinpoint Pty Ltd on behalf of the City of Karratha.
Your access to and use of the Site is conditional on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Site.
By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Site.
Use of site
You must use the Site in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations.
Social Pinpoint and its suppliers use reasonable efforts to protect the confidentiality of content you provide in accordance with the What We Make It Karratha Confidential Information Policy CG13. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to wholly protect your information from improper purposes by unauthorised third parties. You acknowledge that there are risks inherent in internet connectivity that could result in the loss of your privacy, confidential information and property.

Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the Site.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Social Pinpoint and the City of Karratha, their subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, licensors, and other partners and employees, harmless from, any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Site in violation of these Terms and/or arising from a breach of these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
You agree that in no event will Social Pinpoint or the City of Karratha, their suppliers or licensors, be liable for the Site and its content, or any claim or demand made by you or a third party resulting out of (i) any content you submit to or transmit through the Site; (ii) the interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; or (iii) your use of, or inability to use, the Site; (iv) unauthorised access or alterations of your data; (v) statements of conduct of any third party on the Site.

What We Make It Karratha contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and other proprietary information (“Proprietary Intellectual Property”) of Social Pinpoint and its suppliers and licensors. Social Pinpoint and its suppliers and licensors own and retain all proprietary rights in the Intellectual Property. For the avoidance of doubt, content posted on the Site by you and other users of the Site (“Content”) is not Proprietary Intellectual Property.
Except for Proprietary Intellectual Property which is in the public domain, or for which you have been given written permission, you may not copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, or otherwise use any such Proprietary Intellectual Property and the provision of such Proprietary Intellectual Property to you through the Site does not transfer to you or any third party any rights, title or interest in or to such Proprietary Intellectual Property, including, without limitation, any intellectual property rights in any content and material included therein.
