The City of Karratha has received an application to use and develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

PROPERTY: Lots 8, 9 & 10 Madigan Road, Gap Ridge

PROPOSED USE: Proposed Showroom Development (commonly known as a Homemaker centre)

The proposal includes two buildings containing a total of 10 tenancies, associated parking, landscaping and storage areas on the land at the corner of Dampier Road and Madigan Road, Gap Ridge.

How to Provide Feedback

We invite residents and stakeholders to review the proposal and provide their feedback. Details of the application are available for inspection during office hours, at the City of Karratha’s Administration Office located on Welcome Road, Karratha and for viewing by accessing the document here.

Submissions can be made using the form below until 4:30pm, 18 June 2025.

Please be aware that details of your submission may be made available to the applicant for the opportunity to respond. Your submission may also be used to form part of a Responsible Authority Report (RAR) presented by the City to the Development Assessment Panel making it a public document.

Please note that in this instance the Regional Development Assessment Panel (RDAP) is the determination authority for this application. The City is known as the responsible authority and prepares the RAR, including recommendations to the RDAP for their consideration and determination.
