Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy
The City of Karratha has endorsed a Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy and Action Plan to guide how we manage waste over the next ten years.
This strategy has been shaped by the ideas and feedback shared during community and stakeholder consultation, ensuring it reflects local priorities and needs.

- Community and stakeholder engagement
Consultation on this strategy was open for three weeks from 21 October 2025. Feedback has now closed, and the final strategy has been endorsed by Council.
