The City of Karratha is investigating the opportunity to enhance Wickham South Park with a half basketball court.

The project includes the development of a unified recreational space featuring a half basketball court at Wickham South Park. The City is committed to consulting with the Wickham community to ensure the design aligns with local needs and aspirations.

The City has prepared three high level concept options for consideration and feedback. Each concept includes:

• A half basketball court as a foundational element
• Complementary recreational features offering distinct aesthetics and functionality

How to Provide Your Feedback

The City is inviting community members to provide their feedback on the three concept options. You can provide feedback by:

• Emailing feedback to community.engagement@karratha.wa.gov.au

The proposed new additions will not impact the existing playground, amenities or car parking.

The feedback period will close at 5pm, on Wednesday 21 May 2025. All feedback will help shape the investigation into a half basketball court at Wickham South Youth Park.
