It’s time to turn ideas into action – with the Wickham community leading the way

The City of Karratha is working together with the community to create the Wickham Place Plan — a shared plan to help Wickham grow, thrive, and feel even more welcoming.

Between July and September 2025, people across Wickham shared their stories, ideas, and everyday experiences. We listened through conversations, workshops, online input, and local events. From everything you told us, seven key themes emerged:

• Making Wickham Look And Feel Loved

• Creating a Connected Heart For Wickham

• Keeping Everyone Safe and Connected After Dark

• Spaces and Activities For All Ages and Interests

• Celebrating and Protecting Wickham's Natural Assets

These themes reflect what matters most and will guide the next stage of engagement as we work with community to shape actions and explore solutions together.
