The City of Karratha Community Infrastructure Plan

Community infrastructure plays a vital role in the quality and well-being of our community by providing spaces to connect and facilitating activity, participation and engagement in public life.

With our growing and changing population, the City is planning to ensure everyone in our community has access to high quality facilities, both now and in the future, by developing a Community Infrastructure Plan (CIP).

The CIP will identify the City of Karratha’s community infrastructure requirements for the next 10-15 years to support our communities to be active and socially connected.

What type of community infrastructure is included in the scope?

Consultation and Engagement

How can I inform the plan?

Community input in shaping this plan and its outcomes is crucial. While sporting clubs and community groups are currently providing valuable feedback through a separate survey and a workshop on their facility usage, we also want to hear from you - our local residents.

We invite you to complete the following survey to share your views on the strengths and weaknesses of our community infrastructure, as well as any improvements you believe are necessary to better meet the needs of our community in the future.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes and closes at 4pm on December 23, 2024.

What happens to my feedback?

Your feedback along with insights from other data sources, will be carefully reviewed to play a key role in shaping the content of our Community Infrastructure Plan. All feedback will remain confidential.
